The AGRARIAN project has officially started with a kick-off meeting involving partners including Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Ri.Nova and Università degli Studi di Parma, together with industrial stakeholders.
The project aims to develop a data and image acquisition system for the wine sector based on self-learning algorithms and predictive models.
These tools will support the optimization of resources such as water, fertilizers and plant protection products.
A key innovation is the use of mobile sensors, including drones and robots, for real-time in situ monitoring of environmental and soil conditions.
The project is funded within the regional FESR 2021–2027 program and focuses on improving sustainability and crop management efficiency.
